Science and Adventure Conference

The Science and Adventure Conference happened in CCTG last week at 19 to 22 of june. This conference is about related subjects with methods and knowledge to improve autosustentable practices in the projects we will volunteer in Central America and Africa. We received volunteers from the another two schools here in the USA, IICD Michigan and IICD Massachusetts. CCTG was full off good ideas, energy and happiness.
All schools brought some presentation and collaborated for the big success of this event. We talked about environment, soil use and agriculture, recycling, and water, a big problem, especially in Africa where in some places they simple don´t have clean one. All this presentations and discussions helped us to learn more ways to improve the community and involve people in a action to get better lives.
In the weekend we divided groups to visit three beautiful nature places here in north est California, McCloud Waterfalls, Mont Shasta, and a ranch near from Etna city. I gone to McCloud and was great, twenty people totally, a lot of happiness. You can see a part of this adventure in this clip on right.
